What is SEO?

SEO stands Search Engine Optimization. It is a practice of growing a website's traffic from organic search results. It involves things like keyword research, content creation, link building and technical audits.

There are mainly 4 types of SEO:
  • On-page SEO
  • Off-page SEO
  • Technical SEO
  • Local SEO

How Does SEO Work?

Search engine optimization is an integral part of digital marketing and content marketing and it must be given the attention it deserves no matter what your digital marketing tactics are.

SEO works by making certain changes to your website design and content that can make your website more attractive to a search engine. Google's algorithm looks at hundreds of ranking factors when deciding which websites to present in the search results and in what order. It is impossible for the user to change their website to account every single time but there are several practices which can be followed.
